LOOKING TO TRAIN FOR WORK?

The TOiL Project (Training Opportunities in Lothian) offers 6 months paid work experience placements to people leaving school with few or no qualifications.

This is backed up by in-house training and career guidance from Port of Leith Housing Association.

Training placements are with local firms in a variety of trades and give you the real experience and skills that employers look for. You also earn a decent wage while training.

Many of our trainees have gone on to secure apprenticeships or full time work after their placement.

So, if you are interested in applying, make an appointment with Careers Scotland. A careers adviser will discuss whether you are eligible and explain the benefits of a "Get Ready for Work" course.
