9. Priority Ranking Points

Priority ranking points are then awarded according to the following criteria to establish the relative priority of applicants within each group:-
Overcrowding
Points will be awarded for each bedspace short of an applicant’s needs on the assumption that:

Under Occupation
3 Points are awarded for each bed space surplus to an applicant’s requirements.
Shared Facilities
Points are awarded as follows for facilities the applicant shares
with others who are not part of his/her household.

Dampness 1 – 5 points

Points awarded will depend on the degree of the severity of the dampness.
| Need to move to give or receive practical support from friends or relatives where there is suffering due to a lack of adequate support. |

| Applicant is particularly vulnerable because of present housing environment and a move is required to reduce suffering. |

Transfer applicants will be awarded medical points as follows:
| Applicant or member of his/her household has a serious medical condition which will be significantly improved by rehousing or require to move due to isolation caused by physical disability. |

Applicants for Sheltered and Amenity Housing will be awarded additional points for the following circumstances:-
