Handling Harassment
The Association is an equal opportunity organisation. It therefore attempts to make its service available to all regardless of race, colour, sex, sexual orientation, marital status, age, ethnic origin, physical disability, religion, AIDS or HIV.
The Association will therefore treat instances of harassment and racial harassment, in particular, very seriously. We will endeavour to resolve any such instance and will not hesitate to take legal action against any tenant who perpetrates harassment. This is clearly set out as a ground for repossession of a property in the Scottish Secure Tenancy Agreement.
If you suffer any abuse or harassment you should contact your Housing Officer in the first instance.
