Improving your Home

Tenants are encouraged to improve their homes although under certain circumstances permission may be required from the Association. For further information please contact the Property Management Team.

If you do carry out improvements to your home and then move to another house (not as a Port of Leith Housing Association tenant).

The Association will compensate you for the improvements that you carried out whilst a tenant of the Association. The Association has a policy in respect of making compensation payments in respect of tenant improvements.
