Leith Theatre
Leith Theatre is a 1930s art-deco building of significant architectural and community interest, dating from the coming together of Leith Burgh and the City Corporation, when it was built as a town hall. The Leith Theatre Steering Group established February 05, has attracted widespread support in its work towards re-launching it as an exciting and viable business. The steering group hope to transfer ownership of the building to a new, locally owned organisation and run the campus as a social enterprise, offering arts-based community, education and recreation opportunities for residents and visitors to Leith.
