Port of Leith has entered into a Design and Build contract with local contractor J Smart & Co to construct 100 properties. The site was previously used a warehouse which has since been demolished to make way for this building. The development consists of a six storey high, modern designed building incorporating open terraces accessed from top floor flats, brick finished elevations with cladding at upper floor levels. The roof is a mono pitch design. In addition there is secured undercroft car parking, and a large central landscaped courtyard. The building is environmentally friendly, highly insulated and features Solar Thermal Panels situated on the roof providing hot water to the top two floor properties.

Work on the site commenced in January 2011 with staged completion date from the summer of 2012 to early 2013. The mix of homes available is as follows:
