Insurance
The Association has insured the structure of your house along with those fixtures and fittings provided by the Association. The insurance does not extend to your own belongings or your neighbours and we strongly advise you to insure these yourself.
An insurance policy is not expensive when compared to the cost of replacing a house full of furniture, electrical equipment and carpet.
Inexpensive household contents insurance can be arrange through the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations. Contact your housing office if you are interested and you will be provided with the appropriate forms.
