The Association’s development at Goosander Place in Western Harbour, incorporating Goosander Street, Newhaven Place and Sandpiper Road, was completed in 2010. The scheme consists of 102 properties, including eight wheelchair accessible flats, situated around a central courtyard. The development is finished in natural stone and features private balconies to several of the upper floor flats.
In 2010 the project was winner of the Scottish Home Awards in the Large Affordable Housing Development category.
The development was officially opened in June 2010 by Alex Neil MSP.
The accommodation is made up as follows:
- 32 x one bedroom flats
- 6 x one bedroom wheelchair adapted flats
- 42 x two bedroom flats
- 2 x two bedroom wheelchair adapted flats
- 20 x three bedroom flats
